Praying Mantis features in the new Kip Leather. The APM-41 is a 33 inch diameter mitt with Stress Wedge finger guard, added Finger Hammocks for sure fit, Double Flex-Hinge for quick snap closure, Spiral-Lock web to trap the ball.

Kip leather originated in Europe with tanning in Japan. Akadema uses U.S. steerhide put through this process. The result: Kip leather is 20% lighter and tighter grained than conventional steerhide. As a result Precision gloves are more pliable, easier to break in, with more tensile strength. They cost more but the improvement in fit and playability makes Akadema Precision an excellent choice for the serious ballplayer.
