Indoors or out, the next generation SwingAway lets varsity and youth players experience the most popular pro hitting station ever made - for less. The patented bungee cord system and hitting mat allows you to position the ball anywhere inside the strike zone and get hit after hit. It resets in 3 seconds so you can take as many swings as your arms can handle.

The new SwingAway now features matching top and bottom booms which tether the ball over a new patented hitting mat. The double-boom system keeps the ball center-aligned increasing the life of the bungee system.

The SwingAway net and target zone will help you visualize the direction and trajectory of each hit ball. You can isolate training to work on quick hands, compact swing, and strong follow-through. Your torso can work to develop power with quick repetition of true baseball movement. And your legs and hips will develop the muscle feedback and confidence to take with you into the game. Plus with booms and tethers disconnected, the net works well as a rebounder for fielder training (it can be tilted back or forward for pop ups and grounders).

The SwngAway Hitting Mat replicates the inner portion of the batter’s box with home plate. The roll-out mat is marked for both right- and left-hand hitters. Numbered baseballs show proper contact points and arrows help you line up the mat under the boom. You can work on pull hits, up-the-middle shots, and oppo swings for hit-and-run training. The SwingAway Mat is a also a great stand-alone tool to use during live batting practice, short toss, soft toss and tee drills.

Two models in near identical sizes are offered, with different gauges of galvanized steel: heavier US steel on the Elite model, and lighter 18-gauge import steel on the less expensive home SwingAway. The weight difference is 38 lbs vs 33.
