Wake-Up Warm-Up

Now we come to the final two exercises in the Jaeger series which put all the previous prep into focus. Two  points to keep in mind show the potential dangers of any and all exercises routines

  1. The importance of details, and
  2. The understanding of principles
The first of these routines, Resistance Pitching. requires attention to the details of range of motion and maximum exertion. Both Resistance and Reverse Throwing demonstrate that the best way to warm muscles in opposing directions (extension and contraction) is not always to simple change direction on the same drill - sometimes a completely different motion is required.
