Introducing the Next Gen Sports Radar

Every MLB scouting organization already uses Stalker Sport radars, considered the most rugged, reliable, and accurate in the field. With the introduction of the Sport 2 expect to see more Stalker units at college, varsity and community league levels.

The unit is lightweight, powered by a number of battery choices, features two speed displays (for peak and plate speeds simultaneously), recalls 5 previous readings, includes a stopwatch function, and a 2-year warranty. If you're serious about pitcher training, scouting or coaching, you need to get your hand on one.

The low price and tight range makes it a good choice for youth league baseball. A few minutes practice and you will get a good feeling for aim-and-shoot. We just wish that pulling out a radar gun didn't always draw a crowd of interested parents and players. - Richard Todd, WebBall

Baseball's most affordable radar gun

The large LCD readout shows speed in a continuous mode while the trigger is pulled, and when released will display the highest recorded speed during that trigger pull. No memory recalls, settings, or options to worry about, just aim and shoot - very easy to use.

How we use the Glove Radar... One of the dangers in any measuring device is the temptation to compare players to each other. What we have done that works best is have a bullpen coach as the catcher and he keeps the absolute numbers to himself, but what he will announce is the differential between pitches thrown by the same player - to find the best fastball, or change-up or curve. So, for example, if the fastball is not consistent, or looses mph too quickly in a short session, we'll try to identify the problem. And we'll work towards getting a change-up that is imperceptible in delivery mechanics but arrives at the plate 10-12 mph slower. And we'll work on hard curves (only 4-7 mph less than fastball) as well as slower breaking balls. It is next to impossible to spot these difference without the Glove Radar. - Adam Todd, WebBall

Turn any ballglove into a radar speed gun.

The Glove Radar responds to the approaching ball just before it reaches the glove. It's not an impact sensor or timer, but a true short-range microwave Doppler radar, like the radar speed guns used in sports and law enforcement, but with much lower power - and much lower cost!  Helps develop players' throwing ability by providing accurate velocity feedback from 20-120 mph!

The pre-production model was introduced at The Super Show in Las Vegas, Jan. 03, and was immediately a candidate for product of the year. Though extensively tested, including performance evaluation and calibration analysis with a state-of-the-art mechanized golf club swing system, WebBall held off on our own recommendation until we could evaluate a standard production model. We now have - testing it for both baseball and golf - and the Swing Speed Radar lives up to the advanced billing. Easy to set up, easy to use. It has proven popular with baseball coaches, especially those into golf. - Richard Todd, WebBall

It's not how hard you swing...but how well you swing!

The Swing Speed Radar® is a small, inexpensive tool that will improve your swing mechanics by providing accurate feedback on the bat speed as you make adjustments to your mechanics. This microwave Doppler radar velocity sensor is easy to set up for baseball or softball. You can hook it on a chainlink fence (about 4-5' behind you) as you hit off a tee. Or position it directly in front of you on a tripod as you practice dry swings. It works just as well for golf when positioned behind or at an angle to your clubhead contact point.

Don't just measure bat speed, measure ball speed!

Until now, all devices for measuring hitting power have measured the speed of the bat. But what hitters really want to know is how well their swing is being tranferred to the ball. Now you can train based on exit speed... to find your optimum swing for developing power. As every good instructor, coach and player knows - when you measure performance you're on track for real improvement. In the Power Hitting Station line are options up to a complete transportable trainer's system.

Laser technology for batspeed analysis.

Using lasers (not radar) the BatMaxx 5500 accurately measures a hitter's bat speed in miles-per-hour and the reaction time from a 'go' signal to the first laser beam interruption. This laser-based system is a practical, portable, bat speed measuring device for accurate, consistent readings from swing to swing. Track bat speeds of all ages and skill levels and see how a player's performance compares after training adjustments. Or use it as a scouting aid in tryouts and team practices.
